Mission:
Why do we exist?
We want to realise a sustainable and local project in the Gambia. We focus on education and health care.
VISION:
A Heart for Sifoe wants to be anchored in the local community. We achieve this with visits that allow us to transfer skills and knowledge and by contributing to projects that stimulate the medical and educational development of the local population.

We achieve this by organising fundraisers and with the help of structural partners.

Our ethical charter:
- We purposefully keep our working group small so as to be able to work efficiently in the Gambia.
- We work as volunteers. This means we finance our trip ourselves and do not receive any kind of compensation for the work we do.
- Our meals, drinks and transportation on site are paid for by the organisation.
- We actively work with the local schools and health centres.
- 90% of the time spent in the Gambia is spent working, so it is not a holiday.
- We organise a large fundraiser at least once a year.
