A HEART FOR SIFOE.
Lieve, Karen, Sofie, Ingrid, Ina, Griet and Annelies. Seven women, one very big heart. That’s the best way to describe us. We lost that heart in Sifoe, a small village in the Gambia. We learned about this place through Gamrupa, an aid organisation that put us in touch with charities active in the Gambia.
With our project, ‘A heart for Sifoe’, we help people in and around Sifoe meet their medical and educational needs and so give them a chance to build a better future for themselves. Your generous donations allow us to set up all kinds of projects over there. Once a year, in February, we visit Sifoe to see how the projects are doing and how we can best support them.
The blog on this site is meant to share our story and to allow you to virtually join us during our yearly trip. Our yearly trip is made possible by generous donations. If you want to support our organisation you can transfer money into our account (IBAN BE 46 0018 0889 8436).
