Day 3
Today we again went to work at the Hope Nursery school. First we sorted the toys and the books we found in the dream class and the school library. A few children offered their help and proved to be diligent workers.
At lunch time we were treated to an excellent meal. Kalifa’s wife had cooked Belgian beef stew with fries for us.
After lunch we worked with some local painters to give the second building of the school a fresh layer of paint. Without the help of the Sifoe people we wouldn’t have managed it. It was a large job and it took quite some time, but the result was really worth it.
